To my brothers and my sisters

To the brothers and the sisters, to all of the resistors, to the workers broke and cryin’, on the road that leads to Zion. The mountain, the mountain, we will all climb – all of God’s children in God’s own time.

Unity the verb, HEY! Solidarity!
You the truth have heard, HEY! Solidarity!
Rise up to the call, HEY! Solidarity!
United we can never fall.
Let one voice ring throughout the world, let truth be sown.
Let us lay our own lives down, a greater love was never known.

While the light is growing dim, make war to keep your faith in him, knowing what has made us free – unity, not uniformity. One world, one voice, in trenches we stand tall, one truth that has found us, one shepherd for us all.

    Oy vey. Trouble me, these lyrics do.

    The name “five iron frenzy” seems somewhat unusual. It generates imagery of a bloodthirsty golfer on a medium-sized chipping club rampage.

    Hey, now someone ELSE stole my identity!

    Actually take out the biblical references and replace the Shepard with Mao Ze Dong and it sounds an awful lot like an article I was reading in the People’s Daily the other day.

    “While the light is growing dim, make war to keep your faith in him, knowing what has made us free – unity, not uniformity. One world, one voice, in trenches we stand tall, one truth that has found us, one leader for us all.”

      Thanks Flynn 😛

      I think Robert stole your anonymousness, although that might be someone else up there, normally Robert leaves an initial :S

        Damn you Robert! Always living in my shadow, trying to piece together scraps of everything it is to be Flynn. (Who is Robert?)

        By the way you didn’t respond. Didn’t I always say Jesus was a socialist?

        It’s so true 😛 Jesus is socialism without the corruption. Too bad that there are people involved in Christianity as well :S

        Robert = Robert Bautista
