The front gardens here at college are full of roses, and they all look mighty nice. In fact, last week I had a brilliant idea to help a friend of mine charm his girlfriend of two years (he said things had become too routine, predictable, and dull). I cut him a ripping young bud and told him to give it to her as a surprise sort of thing.
Need I say she loved it. She was touched and surprised that he had thought of her out of the blue, and the heavy air of the past months was one. It bloomed wonderfully the next day – she’s been in a good mood since.
Anyway, I just thought I’d use your blog to give myself a pat on the back for helping a friend out with his relationship. =P
